Tour Itenerary
Day 01 (Arrival)
On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 02 (Galle)
Visit the colonial town of Galle. Your guided city tour will explore Galle Fort, a walled town built by the Dutch in the 18th Century and now a world heritage site. After lunch in Galle, travel to Sinharaja Forest Reserve, where you will stay at the award-winning Rainforest Eco Lodge for the next two nights.
Day 03 (Sinharaja)
Enjoy an early morning walk around the forest on a bird and butterfly trail, discovering many species of flora and fauna endemic to the forest. Additional guided walks are available locally at a fee.
Day 04 (Nuwara Eliya)
Leave the tropical lowlands and head into Sri Lanka’s mountainous interior to Nuwara Eliya. En route, visit the Elephant Transit Home in Udawalawe, a rehabilitation project for orphaned elephants. Upon arrival in Nuwara Eliya, enjoy a visit to a tea estate and factory.
Days 05 (Nuwara Eliya to Passikudah)
Explore Nuwara Eliya, passing British red post boxes, Victoria Park, and the Victorian post office. Afterwards, travel to Passikudah for your next two nights. Passikudah boasts the best beaches in Sri Lanka, with pristine white sands and turquoise waters.
Day 06 (Passikudah)
Spend a full day at leisure, relaxing on the beautiful Passikudah beach.
Day 07 (Sigirya)
Visit the stunning Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a world heritage site dating back to the fifth century. Continue your journey to Innamaluwa to visit a spice garden and enjoy a relaxing foot massage. Proceed to Waikkal for your overnight stay, with a lunch stop in Dambulla.
Day 08 (Departure)
Transfer to the airport for departure.
